Inside My Creative Hype Girl World
I’m Holly — the owner and founder of
Creative Swell!
I love making all the things — arts, crafts, DIYs, and anything creative. I love to party, celebrate big, and surround myself with good vibes, disco balls (I have quite the collection), and lots and lots of glitter and sequins. Nothing makes me happier than working with kids, creating magical moments, and having fun together.
The Creative Behind the Crafts (and the Disco Balls)
I’ve been obsessed with making things ever since I was little — if it involved glitter, glue, or a hot glue gun, I was all in. At 18, I kicked off my first business designing and selling handmade jewelry, while also teaching jewelry-making and wire-wrapping classes in a studio (yep, full-on crafty hustle mode). Not long after, I fell in love with leatherwork and started creating everything from custom accessories to one-of-a-kind goods. Over the years, I’ve dabbled in a little bit of everything creative — and honestly, I’ve loved every sparkly, paint-splattered adventure along the way.
These days, I share my passion with my 12-year-old daughter. We love creating together, and yes… I have a tendency to go way over the top on her birthday party decorations (even when I promise myself I won’t!). I also love volunteering at her middle school — and I still help out at her elementary school, too. Being part of the school community and watching kids light up when they create something is honestly the best — it’s what keeps me showing up with all the glitter and good vibes.

Sequins, Sparkles & Shenanigans
I believe creating and making is one of the most fun parts of any party. The entertainment, the activity, the “wow” moment — those are my favorites. I love giving guests something new to experience, something hands-on that they’ll remember long after the party ends.

The Energy Behind the Art
I’m passionate about bringing more art and creativity into schools. I believe every student should have a space where they can explore, express themselves, and create without the pressure of being “perfect.” For students who struggle with traditional academics, art can be the place where they shine — where they realize they can do hard things, build confidence, and find something to look forward to every day at school.
